Learn to become a positive parent.

Guiding you to a happier, healthier family life.

Parenting is hard. Hands down the hardest job a person can have. Why is it hard? Because we are raising and shaping human beings to be the best they can be. Sounds like a lot of pressure, right? Well, it is. But it doesn’t have to be like that all the time. The trick is to have the tools in your parenting toolbox to help you guide your child through the different seasons. Will it be easy? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely.

No one is perfect. There are no perfect parents. But you can strive to be the best parent for your children. And sometimes in order to do that you need someone to brainstorm ideas with, to be on your side and be your cheerleader, to help guide you to come up with the best solutions for your family. That’s where I come in. Without any judgement from me, you will be heard, you will be taken seriously, and we will work together to come up with a plan.

So whether you are in the newborn phase, toddler phase, or elementary school phase, and feel like you’re drowning, know that you are not alone. Let’s work together for a better outcome.

Parenting shouldn't have to be a struggle.

Key Points to Positive Parenting Success.

Connect

Connection is everything. Without it there is no relationship, no trust, no bond. When your child is struggling, connect. Show up. Be present.

Listen

Children need to be heard. Quite often we are too busy to really sit down and listen to what our children have to say. Take the time, get down to their level and really listen. Your children’s feelings and experiences matter.

Acknowledge

Once you’ve listened, acknowledge and validate his or her feelings without inserting your feelings. This is where the magic happens. Your child will feel understood and a lot of frustrations can be alleviated by the acknowledgment and validation.
